Natural Cures For Acne
Acne is the biggest problem in an adolescent's life and also cause some problems for adults. Acne occurs when the skin becomes clogged. It's a recognised medical condition. While it's common, for most people acne is the cause of embarrassment and frustration that can upset their daily lives.
Apart from ruining smooth skin, acne can also be a sign of more serious health problems. Either way, most people who have acne problems seek a permanent cure for it by spending lots of money. Acne can be any of the following: clogged pores, whiteheads, blackheads, pustules, pimples or cysts. The main cause for acne is excessive oil production from the skin's oil glands.
The skin is protected by the oil glands, but there are times when the skin cells block the oil from being released to surface layers, which causes the oil to accumulate under the surface. This unreleased oil acts as a culture environment for the skin's natural bacteria, which multiples and causes the surrounding skin to inflame. This is how acne occurs.
Unlike what many people believe, acne is not passed on from your parents, nor is it related to any consumed foods, sweat and dirt, hormones, stress or cosmetics. These have not been proven to be a direct cause for acne. But, some drugs containing iodides, steroids and bromides, certain industrial chemicals and helmets, collars and straps which apply pressure on your skin are known to cause and aggravate acne. Some people are prone to more oilier skin conditions and this is possibly caused by hormonal activity, but there's no definite proof for it.
Acne requires treatment when it gets worse. There's no exact time to treat it and since everyone gets acne during their lifetime, treating it depends on the condition's severity. Severe acne indications are sudden major breakouts and long-term mild acne.
Curing acne naturally and permanently requires a few basic essential lifestyle changes. Remembering the three steps on how acne is caused, the most important thing is to start with eradicating them - unclog pores, destroy the bacteria and reduce oil build up.
Getting proper rest and eating a well balanced diet can go a long way to preventing acne. But everyone's life is very busy these days and sometimes that is just not possible. There are some natural and easy ways to treat it that can permanently cure your acne.
Opening the pores requires skin cleansing and proper care. There are no magical remedies to cure acne. Daily cleansing, exfoliating and moisturising are the steps to healthy skin care. Antioxidant food varieties, such as leafy green vegetables, are excellent for improving your immune system, in turn fighting bacterial reactions. Reducing your oil internally is risky, since you shouldn't interfere with your hormones and metabolism. Instead, the focus should only be on reducing the skin surface oil.
